CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS

Crispy Garlic Chicken Strips

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons spices (your choice — paprika, black pepper, turmeric, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Oil (for frying or grilling)
  • Lettuce and cherry tomatoes (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Separate the Eggs:
    Separate the yolks from the whites and place them in different bowls.
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    Cut the chicken into strips. In a bowl, mix the chicken with egg yolks, garlic, spices, salt, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
  3. Beat Egg Whites:
    In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until slightly frothy.
  4. Cook the Chicken:
    Heat oil in a pan. Dip the marinated chicken strips into the egg whites, then place them into the hot oil or on a grill.
    Cook until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  5. Serve:
    Arrange the chicken strips on a plate with fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes for garnish. Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.

Variations:

  • Spicy Kick: Add cayenne pepper or chili powder to the spice mix.
  • Cheesy Twist: Sprinkle grated cheese over the chicken before grilling.
  • Asian Style: Mix soy sauce and grated ginger into the marinade.
  • Coconut Chicken: Add shredded coconut for a tropical crunch.

Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — fry in batches.
  • Make sure the oil is hot before adding the chicken.
  • Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor.
  • Serve hot for maximum crispiness.

Storage:

  • Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
  • Freezer: Freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a 375°F (190°C) oven for 10–15 minutes.
