Crispy Garlic Chicken Strips
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 2 chicken fillets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons spices (your choice — paprika, black pepper, turmeric, etc.)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon salt
- Oil (for frying or grilling)
- Lettuce and cherry tomatoes (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Separate the Eggs:
Separate the yolks from the whites and place them in different bowls. - Prepare the Chicken:
Cut the chicken into strips. In a bowl, mix the chicken with egg yolks, garlic, spices, salt, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor. - Beat Egg Whites:
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until slightly frothy. - Cook the Chicken:
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the marinated chicken strips into the egg whites, then place them into the hot oil or on a grill.
Cook until golden brown and fully cooked through. - Serve:
Arrange the chicken strips on a plate with fresh lettuce and cherry tomatoes for garnish. Serve immediately for the crispiest texture.
Variations:
- Spicy Kick: Add cayenne pepper or chili powder to the spice mix.
- Cheesy Twist: Sprinkle grated cheese over the chicken before grilling.
- Asian Style: Mix soy sauce and grated ginger into the marinade.
- Coconut Chicken: Add shredded coconut for a tropical crunch.
Tips:
- Don’t overcrowd the pan — fry in batches.
- Make sure the oil is hot before adding the chicken.
- Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor.
- Serve hot for maximum crispiness.
Storage:
- Fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days.
