Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 pan or line with parchment.
  2. Make the batter
    Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin spice.
    In another bowl, beat butter and sugars until fluffy.
    Add eggs, pumpkin, sour cream, and vanilla.
    Mix in dry ingredients just until combined.
  3. Add topping
    Spread batter into the pan.
    Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and nuts.
    Sprinkle evenly on top.
  4. Bake
    Bake 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool at least 20 minutes before slicing.
