🧾 Ingredients
For the Casserole
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/3 large onion, chopped
- 1 small can diced green chilies
- 1 (15 oz) can enchilada sauce
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1 bag Fritos corn chips
- 1 bag shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or your choice)
Toppings (Optional but Recommended)
- 3/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced fresh tomato
- 16 ounces salsa
- 8 ounces sour cream

1. Cook the Beef
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion until fully cooked.
- Drain if needed.
2. Add the Sauce
- Stir in the green chilies, enchilada sauce, and cream cheese.
- Cook until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is combined and creamy.
3. Layer the Casserole
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the ingredients in this order:
- Fritos corn chips
- Meat mixture
- Shredded cheese
Repeat the layers if desired.
4. Bake
