Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and cut them into sections if needed to fit inside your slow cooker.
Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and cola until combined.
Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the ribs.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or until the ribs are very tender.
Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker.
For extra caramelization, place the ribs on a baking sheet and broil for 3–5 minutes, brushing with additional sauce if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy.
