Ingredients

  • 24 buttery round crackers such as Ritz
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small crumbles. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the seasoned beef onto each cracker.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over each bite.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, or mozzarella cheese can be used instead of cheddar.
  • Add sliced jalapeños for a spicy version.
  • Serve with ranch dressing, barbecue sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
