Hawaiian Pineapple Fluff

Hawaiian Pineapple Fluff is a light, creamy, no-bake dessert salad made with crushed pineapple, instant vanilla pudding, whipped topping, marshmallows, coconut, and juicy tropical fruit. It's sweet, fluffy, refreshing, and perfect for potlucks, holidays, barbecues, and family gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 1 3.4 oz package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 8 oz container whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 15 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries drained and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or macadamia nuts optional

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple and the instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir until the pudding dissolves and the mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, mandarin oranges, maraschino cherries, and chopped nuts, if using.
  4. Fold everything together gently to avoid breaking up the fruit.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend and the marshmallows to soften.
  6. Stir gently before serving.
  7. Garnish with additional coconut, cherries, or chopped nuts if desired.

Notes

  • Drain the mandarin oranges and cherries well to prevent excess moisture.
  • Macadamia nuts provide an authentic Hawaiian-inspired flavor.
  • For extra tropical flavor, add 1 cup of diced fresh mango or diced bananas just before serving.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze.
